A full-time Senior Copywriter primarily responsible for writing original copy for marketing initiatives, including email, ads, blog, social, direct mail, radio and video ads. Also responsible for crafting strategic customer-focused copy across the website, while collaborating with UX and product teams. Teams up with designer to develop coherent, effective content and communications solutions across a range of channels .
Web Site Copy
As the resident product expert, I crafted copy for web pages for every product launch, some of which became the highest performers on our site.
Crafting web content meant working very closely with the Design, UX, and SEO teams to create a beautiful, optimized user experience with clear, conversion-driven goals.
Blurb launched its own book-making mobile app, and I got to collaborate with UX to craft clear, inspiring copy.
When the Blurb Mobile App launched, I wrote all the copy for its promotion, including landing pages, emails, banner ads, and SEO-optimized App Store Copy
Blurb did quarterly inserts with promo offers and other product call-outs. I paired with a designer to make these so engaging and attractive, we found photos of some of them on Instagram as collectibles!
Blurb Print & Event Collateral
Blurb frequently sponsored events and solicited real estate in like-minded publications, which means I got to write both traditional print ads and paid articles.
Blurb Email Program
Much of my work was writing customer-facing emails for Blurb—including our weekly promotions, customer welcome flows, and transactional emails. I worked closely with design to execute engaging concepts, and we created emails that routinely beat industry standards for open rates, click throughs, and revenue.
